Magnus von Brandis

Magnus von Brandis is 23 years old and is currently studying at the Norwegian Academy of Music where he is pursuing a master's degree in classical saxophone performance. He has won a number of awards, including in the Youth Music Championship competition where he was named "Musician of the Year" in 2023. He has also participated in the finals of NRK's Virtuos, been a soloist with KORK and SSO, among others, and participated in a recital at the Victoria International Arts Festival in Malta. In 2025, he started the Corus Saxophone Quartet with three fellow students, which is now in the process of being established.
